The All-New Ball Family Reserve August 2018 Release

The Ernie Ball Music Man Ball Family Reserve series is a celebration of our heritage in instrument craftsmanship. These rare pieces are offered in limited production runs and allow us to present instruments to the public that were previously reserved for family and our loyal artists. Newly released for the month of August are the Cutlass SSS in Cornsilk White, the Albert Lee HH in Orange Crush, and the Bongo 6HH in Grabber Green models. Available now in the U.S. and worldwide in September.

Each Ball Family Reserve guitar and bass features subtle tweaks from their standard models. From bold new finishes and select tone woods, each one is a unique work of art that’s sure to become the crown jewels of collectors and lovers of fine instruments everywhere. Albert Lee in Orange Crush

This Ball Family Reserve Albert Lee HH features a dual humbucking light weight mahogany body with an exclusive Orange Crush sparkle finish. The ebony fingerboard features mother of pearl block inlays and hand fitted white binding.

Offering a satin finished maple neck with ebony fingerboard and a matching painted headstock.

The Bongo in Grabber Green

This special edition Bongo 6HH comes with a dual humbucking basswood body, finished in a custom medium metallic “Grabber” green finish.

Featuring a highly figured roasted maple neck with an ultra smooth, satin finish. The roasted maple neck with rosewood fingerboard is outfitted with white position markers and hand fitted white binding.

The Ball Family Reserve Bongo bass in Grabber Green is limited to 72 pieces worldwide.

The Cutlass in Cornsilk White

The Ball Family Reserve Cutlass SSS comes in a lightweight Alder body, finished in an opaque off-white custom “Cornsilk” finish.

Featuring a beautiful hand fitted white neck binding on rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. The figured maple neck is accented by a matching painted headstock with Schaller locking tuners.
