Welcome to the latest edition of the Brotherhood of the Guitar Spotlight. Here we take a deeper look into the rising stars that are part of the illustrious Brotherhood (and Sisterhood) of the Guitar.

Today we’re looking at Ayla Tesler-Mabe, an extremely gifted young guitarist that brings a breath of fresh air to classic rock by playing inspired and heartfelt improvisations with palpable feeling put into them, giving the feeling of listening to a seasoned guitar vet. To get an idea of Ayla’s style check out her rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Since I’ve Been Loving You”:

Ayla has recently adopted the Ernie Ball Music Man Valentine guitar as one of the mainstays of her lineup, taking full advantage of the vibrant and varied tones the Valentine has to offer. You can see her rocking her Valentine with Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things as they jam out the Pixies classic Where Is My Mind:

The Valentine and Ayla are proving to be a match made in heaven, her groovy soulful style and the Valentine’s ability to churn out supremely funky tones come together in this original recording of Ayla’s called The Chicken:
