Gabriel Severn

Ernie Ball’s very own, Gabriel Severn, is a 14-year-old bassist virtuoso, taking the music world by storm with his recent debut single, “Song for Fina”. Earlier this year, the rising star was honored with two of Jazz’s most elite awards at the DownBeat Student Music Awards. Severn has had an eventful 2018. Aside from prestigious accolades, he has collaborated with Grammy award winners such as drummer Steve Mitchell, in addition to performing all over the U.S. at a variety of venues and festivals, including the 2018 NAMM Show. Sophisticated, smooth, and undeniably gifted, Severn is poised to continue his ascension into the Jazz hierarchy for years to come. Be sure to follow him on social media and look out for his newest single.

Gabriel plays Ernie Ball  bass strings and Ernie Ball Music Man basses – the StingRay 5, and a Bongo 6.
