The 2020 Majesty

The Majesty is the result of John’s unwavering demand for high-performance and playability. One of the most ergonomic and perfectly balanced instruments available, the Majesty features neck-through-body design, unparalleled upper and lower fret access, economical in-line control knob placement, and new digital pickup switching capabilities, which effectively eliminate the delay between pickup selection. The Majesty is the exemplification of everything we know a John Petrucci signature model to be – innovative technology, versatile performance, and a sleek modern feel.

The Majesty guitar for 2020 features a flamed maple shield seated in a lightweight okoume body (Red Pheonix comes standard with a basswood body and no maple shield.) A glossy translucent finish on the front and back showcases the beautiful wood combination for a striking appearance. Newly designed signature DiMarzio Dreamcatcher (bridge) and Rainmaker (neck) pickups combined with an onboard piezo bridge system, give the Majesty a focused and highly versatile palette of tones. Available in 4 new finishes: Pink Sand, Red Phoenix, Smoked Pearl, and Ember Glow.

The Majesty in Purple Nebula

Carefully chosen tonewoods converge to create an instrument that yields extraordinary beauty and tone. The Purple Nebula Majesty 3-piece neck is constructed with two strips of Honduran mahogany and a center strip of flamed maple, which is visible through a translucent burst finish. The body showcases a carved, highly figured quilt maple top over alder sides and a neck-through center of mahogany and maple. The electronics package includes signature DiMarzio Dreamcatcher (bridge) and Rainmaker (neck) pickups, which combined with an onboard piezo bridge system, give the Majesty a more focused and highly versatile palette of tones. With a limited run of only 200 guitars worldwide, each Purple Nebula Majesty will be accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The JP15 in Cerulean Paradise

The JP15 features a lightweight okoume body with a figured maple top. Figured roasted maple neck and fingerboard add just the right amount of snap and brightness while providing more stability in ever changing climates. The JP15 is powered by twin custom Dimarzio Illuminator pickups, piezo bridge system and onboard 20db gain boost. Available in 6 or 7 string with Music Man JP tremolo, 3-way toggle pickup selector, and Music Man hardshell case. Now available in the Cerulean Paradise finish. The JP in Dragon’s Blood

This new JP guitar is a celebration of the original BFR Petrucci model. Featuring an alder body with a mahogany tone block and figured maple top for a complex depth of tone and articulation. Offering a slim Honduran Mahogany neck with East Indian Rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets, combined to provide a lightning-fast playing experience. Powered by high output Dimarzio Liquifire & Crunch Lab humbuckers with a coil-splitting tone pot and the acoustic sounds of a piezo-equipped bridge. A 3-way switch on the upper horn allows you to toggle between or combine the sounds of the humbuckers and piezo system while a pair of output jacks allows you to run the guitar in mono or stereo. The Ernie Ball Music Man floating JP tremolo system works in tandem with Schaller locking tuners to provide exceptional tuning stability.
