Since 1993, the Luke line of guitars has been a staple of the Ernie Ball Music Man collection. Designed by the Music Man R&D team in collaboration with GRAMMY award-winning guitarist Steve Lukather of Toto, the various iterations of the Luke signature model guitars have all been created to fit Steve’s exacting specifications, and the production versions are identical to the ones that he plays in the studio and onstage.
The Luke III Tumescent
This month, we released a new, extremely limited-edition version of the Luke III Ball Family Reserve model. Featuring the exclusive Tumescent finish, this special instrument is available in either dual-humbucker or hum-single-single pickup configurations, and includes a bound neck with ebony fretboard, matte black hardware package, a backplate signed by Steve Lukather himself, and a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
