According to his Twitter profile, Jason Richardson plays Ernie Ball Music Man guitars and Xbox. And while we can’t really speak to his Halo or Call of Duty skills, we can tell you that he is one of the most exciting young guitarists making music today.

Need an introduction? Check out this footage from the 2016 NAMM Show.

Jason Richardson Solo Album

After a brief stint with deathcore band, Born of Osiris, Jason joined Chelsea Grin in 2011. In 2015, he left the band to pursue his first solo album, which he successfully funded via IndieGogo.

“This is going to be the most ambitious effort I have made yet and I need your guys help to make it a reality!!! I am finally going to be able to write music at my full potential with nothing holding me back and I couldn’t be more excited about it!”

Jason Richardson Studio Gear

Jason is relying heavily on Ernie Ball Music Man instruments during the recording of his album. According to Jason, he’s using the Majesty and JP15 guitars, along with a Bongo 6 bass.

He says:

“Every aspect of the guitars and basses just make playing the instrument easier and a lot more fun because of how exceptionally built they are. Just owning an EBMM is motivation in itself to become a better player!”
