In an early 2015 interview with “Premier Guitar,” Maroon 5 guitarist, James Valentine, was quoted as saying “You know, whenever I’ve tried to build or design a guitar with specific appointments, the guitar has never really worked out. I’ve realized that I’m better off playing a bunch of different guitars – whether in a store or a builder’s shop – to see which ones come with the desired mojo.”

Well, ladies and gentleman, we must have the right mojo. Because in June 2016, Ernie Ball Music Man will release the first official James Valentine signature guitar.

    1. Hey Greg, These are scheduled to start hitting US dealers in July.

  2. This guitar looks great. I was just wondering what the output of the humbucker and single coil are. I couldn’t find that information on the specs page. And is the hard tail modern bridge spacing 2 1/8? Thank you very much. Really looking forward to checking this guitar out.
